Rachel is a public health advocate who has held a wide range of positions within the Republic of Marshall Islands’ Ministry of Health and Human Services and the World Bank, from emergency preparedness to early childhood development. She is passionate about working in healthcare to improve public health settings in her community.
Through program management, community advocacy and grant writing, Rachel hopes to attract the resources and support needed to improve health outcomes and livelihoods for future generations of the Republic of Marshall Islands. She joined the Women's Developmental Leadership Program to boost her leadership capabilities and better serve her country as a potential decision-maker once home. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Public Health) from Oregon State University.
