In this role, she oversaw teaching and learning activities in the Centre and supported students and academics from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science.

Henao is passionate about the effective treatment and management of patients and driving social change for improved community health and wellbeing. She aspires to be a public health leader who contributes to capacity-building of the future health workforce. Having seen first-hand the negative impacts of water scarcity in PNG villages, Henao hopes to apply the skills, networks and resources she gains from the Women’s Developmental Leadership Program to finding collaborative, long-lasting solutions. Henao’s qualifications include a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching and Learning from Divine Word University and a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences from the University of PNG.
