Daisy Rose wants to be part of a social change in Vanuatu that sees women recognise the skills and resources they already have to exercise leadership. In her final year of high school, Daisy Rose was voted Head Girl and represented over 1,200 of her peers. Upon graduation, she interned with Vanuatu Skills and Partnership through which she travelled to rural areas organising and facilitating professional development workshops for the organisation’s coaches and consultants.
Daisy is passionate about the empowerment of women and girls and wants to connect with a likeminded network of women leaders to help drive shared goals through WLI. She hopes to take up an executive role in an Australian university to represent and inspire women of colour who have learned English as a second language and are completing their studies far from home.
