Cecilia is a public servant with more than 10 years’ experience in Papua New Guinea’s (PNG) public sector. Prior to taking up her Australia Award, Cecilia was Manager of the Software and Applications Branch of the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Division. In this role within the Ministry of Education, she worked with local and international software developers to design and implement software applications, led teams, and worked closely with multi-level stakeholders to roll-out and improve systems nationally.
Cecilia wants to connect with like-minded female leaders to promote the participation of girls and women in ICT and advocate widely for the use of technology to support development in both the public and private sectors. Cecilia holds a Bachelor of Science, Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of PNG.
