Registration for the LeadershipConnect 2025 program was open until 9 March 2025 for Pacific Australia Awards scholars and alumni keen to lead positive change.
Australia Awards scholars and alumni of all genders from the Pacific who have undertaken studies (in Australia or in the Pacific) were invited to apply to participate in the online program, commencing Wednesday 12 March.
LeadershipConnect is a six-month tailored program designed to build the unique skills, knowledge, and connections needed to lead and influence positive development change in participants' own countries and communities.
Developed and delivered by WLI in partnership with La Trobe University’s Centre for Human Security and Social Change (CHSSC) and The Asia Foundation (TAF) Pacific Islands, it brings together a selection of the most popular content, guest speakers and opportunities from WLI's prestigious Women’s Developmental Leadership Program.
Through weekly online sessions, men and women participants learn from program facilitators, leading guest experts, and each other as we dive into a range of topics and key development challenges facing the Pacific region.
While most participation takes place online from the comfort and safety of participants own homes and workplaces, LeadershipConnect also provides opportunities for face-to-face interaction through in-country events.

To be eligible to register for LeadershipConnect 2025, scholars and alumni must:
Male and female scholars and alumni are invited to register to participate.
Alumni of previous LeadershipConnect programs are also encouraged to register, due to the fresh range of topics, speakers, and subject matter featured in the 2025 program.
