The team at Australia Awards Women Leading and Influencing (WLI) is pleased to announce that applications to LeadershipConnect 2024 are open now until 14 February 2024.
Female and male Australia Awards scholars and alumni from the Pacific who have undertaken studies (in Australia or in the Pacific) are invited to apply to participate in this online program commencing 6 March 2024.
LeadershipConnect is a six-month, tailored program of leadership learning, networking and support for female and male Australia Awards scholars and alumni from the Pacific.
Developed and delivered by WLI in partnership with La Trobe University’s Centre for Human Security and Social Change (CHSSC) and The Asia Foundation (TAF) Pacific Islands, it brings together a selection of the most popular content, guest speakers and opportunities from WLI's prestigious Women’s Developmental Leadership Program.
The program offers female and male participants the opportunity build their leadership skills, knowledge and networks. For men, LeadershipConnect also offers the opportunity to listen to the challenges women face and learn how they can become allies (supporters) of women's leadership in the Pacific.
To be eligible to apply for LeadershipConnect, female and/or male scholars must either be on Award or have completed an Australia Award at an Australian or Pacific institution.
