Lisa is an experienced public health professional. She is interested in strengthening fragile health systems in order to improve delivery of essential healthcare services to Papua New Guinea’s rural communities. The deterioration of health care delivery was a key driver for Lisa to pursue a dual degree in International Public Health and Health Management.
Her studies have enhanced her understanding of the complex factors that influence healthcare delivery, which will enable her to effectively contribute to reform efforts on her return. Lisa hopes the Women’s Leadership Initiative will enhance her communication skills so that she can better advocate and communicate public health concepts to a range of stakeholders.
Keryn Clark
Design, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, NSW
Keryn has over 20 years’ experience managing international development programs in the Pacific, Asia and Africa. She has worked with Save the Children, Oxfam and more recently on a range of DFAT funded programs, specifically in the area of public health and women’s empowerment.
Keryn is committed to strengthening gender equity and women’s empowerment across all her work. Her qualifications include an MSc in Global Health Policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a Bachelor of Financial Management from the University of New South Wales, and she is a graduate of the Australian School of Applied Management.
