Asenaca (Ruci) Barauvula

In her role as the Director of Tatadra Levu (‘Big Dreams’) Foundation, Ruci supports young students in rural areas of Fiji transition into urban education. She has a background in business accounting, teaching and mentoring and aspires to establish a centre to provide skill-enrichment programs to young people and women.

Through her Bachelor’s degree, Asenaca hopes to learn techniques that will help ensure a smooth transition for young people in remote rural areas to further urban education and reduce early dropout rates. Participating in the Women’s Leadership Initiative is an opportunity for Asenaca to network and explore innovative ways to empower remote and rural youth.

Katie Greenwood

Katie is a skilled development professional with executive leadership experience spanning national and international roles with recognised and respected organisations. Katie has led and managed a broad range of complex development and humanitarian processes and programs in the area of; gender and social inclusion, public health, disaster risk management, natural resource management and human rights.

Katie has spent over a decade working in the Pacific and Southern Africa and has a deep commitment to pursuing local agendas and supporting organisational and personal development with partners and colleagues. She has led highly effective teams, innovative projects and complex change processes. Most recently Katie has specialised in working with bespoke teams, solving complex organisational and development challenges.
