Euodia Mosoro

Papua New Guinea
Master of Public Health
University of Melbourne, VIC

Euodia is underway with a Master of Public Health, with the goal to translate PNG's medical research into evidence-based public health programs and improve healthcare access for vulnerable communities. She has worked at PNG's Central Public Health Laboratory and the National Department of Health in laboratory, training and coordination roles. Her successes in HIV research have led her to present at conferences in PNG, South Africa and Bangladesh.

Euodia would like to establish a community initiative where she brings sexual and reproductive health awareness trainings to communities in PNG. She believes that women's autonomy over their own health will mitigate PNG's current gender inequality.

Nikki Teggelove

Public Health, Clinical and Development Specialist, VIC

Nikki has extensive work experience in PNG and other Pacific settings, Africa and Asia. In recent years, her passion to provide a voice for marginalised communities motivated her to start up a consultancy focused on sexual and reproductive health issues. She is qualified as a nurse and holds a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and postgraduate certificate in disaster management and refugee health.

Nikki's key roles in PNG include work on DFAT's Sexual and Reproductive Health Integration project and Save the Children's Poro Sapot sex workers program. She led the development of a HIV prevention project data toolkit for DFAT's Tingim Laip as well as conducted social mapping and set up a volunteer management system. She also has worked on the PNG National AIDS Council M&E Toolkit and a UNFPA's Asia Pacific Effective HIV and SRH Responses among Key Populations Curriculum.
