DT Global is the implementing contractor for Australia Awards Women Leading and Influencing (WLI). Under direction from DFAT, the WLI program team develops and implements a program of activities informed by experience with approaches to women's developmental leadership.
Program Staff
Georgina Cope is a versatile and highly skilled program leader and manager with almost 20 years’ experience working on Australian aid initiatives in the Pacific and Asia.
Prior to joining the Women’s Leadership Initiative, Georgina was Team Leader of the DFAT-funded Pacific Leadership Program in Fiji, where she oversaw a large portfolio of partnerships and activities with Pacific leaders, organisations and coalitions at a regional level, and nationally in Solomon Islands, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu, and was also involved in the design and delivery of the Pacific Regional Leadership Initiative. Georgina has worked on the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands Law and Justice Program and was involved in the design of the first phase of the PNG Law and Justice Sector Program. Georgina has a Master of Public Administration, and extensive practical skills in mentoring, partnership brokering and adaptive leadership.
Bebe Beckerman is an experienced development professional, having worked for a number of Australian and international NGOs in philanthropy, project management and communications roles. She has excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, managing relationships with government and institutional beneficiaries, as well as individuals in a range of development contexts.
She enjoys translating complex industry-specific terminology into easy-to-understand language for reporting and communications purposes — with the occasional statistic thrown in. Bebe holds a Master of International Development (RMIT University) and a Bachelor of Media & Communication (Melbourne University).
Kiri Dicker is a gender and social inclusion specialist with over a decade’s experience working in the aid and development sector across the Indo Pacific region. Her technical expertise spans a range of areas, including gender mainstreaming, monitoring and evaluation, strategic learning, partnership brokering, organisational development, training and facilitation, applied research and data analysis, and capacity-building.
Kiri also serves as an elected representative on her local Council and is passionate about increasing women’s representation in leadership and decision-making roles and inspiring women to lead with compassion and authenticity.
Karyn Docking has a technical background in monitoring, evaluation and learning, leadership and in education and training. She has worked in various roles to improve program efficiency and effectiveness and has had significant line manager roles many with a focus on meeting service delivery targets. Karyn has evaluated and reviewed organisations and education programs both in Australia and in an international development context. She has engaged with many Pacific countries including Papua New Guinea, Tonga and Samoa and contributed to program designs in Fiji and Tuvalu. Karyn holds a Master of Evaluation (University of Melbourne) and a Master of Business (RMIT University)
Tony Liston is a highly experienced executive coach, facilitator and adviser, and Visiting Fellow at the Department of Pacific Affairs, the Australian National University. He has a deep understanding of the public service and business contexts, having coached clients and held senior positions in the Australian and PNG governments. He has a wealth of experience in training, coaching and mentoring clients from NGOs, regional organisations and governments in Australia and across Asia-Pacific, including with the Australian departments of Defence and Prime Minister and Cabinet.
Roshni Chand is a driven and energetic professional who brings several years of working experience in the international development sector with a focus on financial management, project management, operational expertise in setups, administration, human resource management, procurement and logistics, grant management and resource development and delivery of financial literacy and financial management trainings to various grantee organisations.
Roshni has worked on various DFAT-funded projects including Pacific Women Shaping Pacific Development, Fiji Women’s Fund, Balance of Power, Pacific Leadership Program, Multinational Observer Group and Fiji Education Sector Program. Roshni holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management, Public Administration & Human Resource Management from University of the South Pacific.
